Eurocraft Restoration - Company HistoryIn order to trust someone with refinishing your favourite piece of furniture, your passed down from generation to generation family treasure, or simply a piece that you feel could be upgraded, I feel that it is crucial for you to know a little about my past as well as how this company came to be. I was introduced to this trade at the early age of 9, by a master carpenter: my father. By the age of 14, he had trained me so well that I was very familiar with the restoration process. Under my late father's supervision, I was capable of performing such tasks as stripping the furniture, French Polish, English Polish and fixing simple veneer problems.
Even though I was very good at this, my passion for photography took over. I went to photography school, where I was taught to pay attention to details that the untrained eye rarely sees.
In the end, a combination of great knowledge in refinishing antiques and being able to notice minor details provided me with the right skills to start up the business that I am now running. |
